Redesign & Support

Modernize an existing site without a full rebuild — or rebuild only the parts that need it.

When a full new project is overkill but the current site is hurting your business. We audit, diagnose, and fix what is actually broken: performance, accessibility, conversion, brand, or all of it.

About this service

What we mean by it

When a redesign is the right call

You have a site. It works, in the sense that it loads. But it is hurting more than helping.

Maybe it is slow. Maybe it has not aged well. Maybe it does not match the company you have become. Maybe it leaks visitors before they read the third paragraph.

You do not need to throw it away. You need to know what to fix and in what order.

Audit first, surgery second

We start with a one-week audit. Not a sales pitch: a diagnostic. We measure performance, scan accessibility, evaluate brand fit, and review the conversion path.

By the end of the week you have a written document with specific issues, prioritized.

You can take that document and go. Many clients do, and we charge for the audit only. Some clients ask us to do the work. Either is fine.

What we typically fix

  • Performance: bloated images, render-blocking scripts, slow fonts, oversized JavaScript bundles.
  • Accessibility: missing alt text, broken keyboard navigation, poor contrast, missing focus states.
  • Brand fit: outdated visual language, copy that no longer matches your voice, inconsistencies across pages.
  • Conversion: confusing calls-to-action, leaky forms, broken funnels, unclear value propositions.
  • Technical debt: end-of-life frameworks, broken plugin chains, unmaintained CMS.

Why not just rebuild from scratch

Sometimes you should. We will tell you. But often a targeted intervention is cheaper, faster, and lower risk.

The site you have today carries domain authority, content, customer relationships. Rebuilding throws those out.

We will not push you toward a bigger project than you need.

What we will not do

We will not hide problems with a fresh coat of paint. If the underlying CMS is unmaintainable WordPress with seven layers of plugins, the right answer is to migrate, not to redesign on top.

We will not redesign brand without brand work. If the issue is your identity, that is a Brand Identity project, not a website redesign.

What's included

What's included

  • Performance audit

Lighthouse, WebPageTest, real-device testing. Specific issues with specific fixes.

  • Accessibility audit

WCAG 2.2 AA review. Keyboard navigation, screen reader, color contrast, focus states.

  • Brand fit review

Honest assessment of how the current site reads against your current brand and audience.

  • Conversion analysis

Funnel mapping, form review, CTA evaluation, friction identification.

  • Prioritized action plan

Written document. What to fix, in what order, with effort estimates.

  • Implementation (optional)

We can do the work, or hand the plan to your team. Both fine.

How we work

The way we approach it

  1. 01

    Audit

One week. Performance, accessibility, brand fit, conversion. We measure, we test, we read. No assumptions, no eyeballing.

  2. 02

    Diagnosis

Three days. We translate findings into a prioritized issue list with severity, impact, and effort estimates. You can read it without an engineer in the room.

  3. 03

    Plan

Two days. We propose a sequence of work: quick wins first, structural changes second, optional improvements third. You decide what to do and what to skip.

  4. 04

    Surgery

Variable. Most fixes ship in one to four weeks. Bigger structural changes can run six to ten. We work in small mergeable changes, not a single big-bang rewrite.

  5. 05

    Validate

One week after each major change. Re-measure performance, re-test accessibility, watch the metrics. We confirm the fix actually fixed it.

Where it fits

Made for projects like these

Companies with existing websites that need a refresh or ongoing maintenance.

  1. (01)

    Old site, new ambitions

Your site was built four years ago for a different audience. The company is in a different place now. The site needs to catch up without starting over.

  2. (02)

    Performance crisis

Pages take five seconds to load. Mobile is unusable. Google has noticed. Customers have noticed. Time for surgery.

  3. (03)

    Accessibility compliance

Legal, ethical, or commercial reasons to comply with WCAG 2.2 AA. We audit, we fix, we document for your records.

  4. (04)

    Partial rebrand

Your brand has evolved but a full rebuild does not make business sense. We rework the visual layer without touching the underlying structure.

Frequently asked

What people ask

  • How long is the audit?
One week from kickoff. Includes a written report and a 60-minute call to walk you through findings. Cost: 800 to 1,500 dollars depending on the size of the existing site.
  • Can you fix WordPress?
We can. But honestly, if the issue is structural and the site has more than ten plugins, the right answer is usually a migration to a modern stack. We will tell you if that is the case.
  • Will you rebuild from scratch if needed?
Yes, but only if the audit shows that targeted fixes will not get you where you need to go. A rebuild becomes a multi-page or single-page project, priced from there.
  • Do you provide ongoing support?
Sprint by sprint, when you have work. Not as a retainer. Many clients call us when something breaks or a new feature is needed; we do not bill in between.
  • Can you take just the audit, no implementation?
Yes. About 40 percent of audit clients take the report and run with it internally or hand it to another team. We are happy to do that. The audit stands on its own.
